It’s been some time coming, but the second in our Re:Connect Re:Works Series is due out any day now!

Continuing our theme of remixing the cream of our back catalogue, this time we’ve set our sights on Refunk’s classic ‘It’s Groovy‘, with remixes coming from Stylus Rex, Boonos, and newcomers Leuce Rhythms.

Kicking off the package is Boonos, all the way from Australia, whose release and remixes on Title Fight and Trickery Collective left us all at Re:Connect towers open-mouthed. Taking a more driving tech-funk approach to this breakbeat-funk classic, Boonos gives us a remix that works just as well early doors as it does at 4am!

Next up is a tasty reworking from Stylus Rex, someone that’s been on our radar for some time for remix work, and we couldn’t think of anyone better to take on this tune. Stylus Rex keeps things feel good and bouncy, and stays true to the original’s funk and squidge while adding that extra something to take it to a new place.

Rounding off this package are newbies Leuce Rhythms, who give us something rare these days – a nice set opening tune that works almost any time of night. But it’s not too nice, there’s always a little filth lurking round the corner!

This’ll be out on Beatport exclusive from 1st October, and all other stores from 15th October.
